Every child is an artist. The problem is how does he remain
an artist once he grows up.

The Power of Great Presentation

As any college art student can attest, the presentation of your finished work is paramount to the success the artist wishes to obtain. We've all heard the adage, "you never get a second chance to make a first impression."This holds particularly true in the field of art and design because the presentation bar is raised higher for those aspiring to create visual things of beauty.

We spend a great deal of time teaching students the importance of matting and mounting, cropping, preserving, and  photographing their finished art. The presentation should enhance, not hinder, the creativity.  The competition for scholarships is highly intense, so that is why our students are required to prepare their art in the same manner in which the Columbus College of Art and Design comes to expect of its students.

Good preparation skills will benefit every student academically, regardless of the field of study they are pursuing.
