Featured Trip: The Columbus Zoo
Students have opportunities to create art in a variety of fun, beautiful, and interesting settings, such
as art museums, zoos, and scenic outdoor locations. To look for upcoming events, see our calendar of events. (Note: most events take place during the school year.)
These pictures are from one such

opportunity. Students joined Professor Tardino for 3 full days of drawing and demonstrations at the Columbus Zoo. This is an annual trip for CCAD and allows the Art Post Explorers to work side-by-side with college art students.
The students study movement and anatomy of animals in their various habitats at the zoo. Some of the best work created by students is in this setting.
